I have the factory bedliner in my truck, though it is not an over-the-rail bedliner. I suppose it would depend on the molding of the liner to the rails and how the clamps fit over that, for over-the-rail liners.

I have the Truxedo Lo-pro QT on my 08 ram and it awsome. Extremely easy to use, looks awsome, very low profile design, mounts inside the bed rails very easy to remove to utilize the entire bed, rolls up and unrolls in seconds. I researched these covers for months and the truxedo is the best soft toneau cover on the market, i couldnt be happier with it.

I whole heartedly agree. I bought my Retrax in '07 for my 07 1500, and its now on my 06 3500. No issues at all, and we have -45C winters + 3' of snow. No broken ribs/bearings/etc. It works great.

I bought my '04 2500 with a soft top snap tonneau cover on it and had all intentions of taking if off after I purchased it to install a tool box but after realizing its convenience I decided to leave it on. I have a drop in bed liner and it works fine, I keep plenty of stuff in the bed I wouldnt like getting wet and I've never had any problem with it leaking or anything and it's very nice that when you do some across something you need to haul its only about 30 snap buttons and 4 removable support bars and you have full access to you bed.

BUT I have looked into the tri-folds for a few reasons as well... 1. It lays flush inside your bed rails and looks much cleaner. 2. You can fold back one panel if needed where as in the snap on's it's either all on or all off because it will unsnap itself and blow off. 3. The tri-fold's are much much sturdier if you happen to live in a place that gets snow or you can fold it back and use it as a bench to sit in the back of your truck for tailgates or whatever else you may like to use it for.

So what I'm saying is if you have the 600+ to fork out I'd go with the tri-fold but if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck then go with the snap soft-top.
