Before anyone tells me they hung with anything!!!!
I beat a cobra in my V6 the other day. Really it was a real Shelby Cobra (or maybe a replica I can't tell the difference) I was pulling out of Home Depot with a load of sod, it was heading east - I was heading North. I yelled I'll race ya to my house. I got to my house first. As far as I can tell it still hasn't made it there yet. What a slow piece of junk!
Damn you guys are funny,
But in all honesty, if you really wanna go fast, buy a late model sport bike.
Outside of my hemi 4X4, I have a Honda CBR954RR. I save my speed need for that. And man is it fast.
I've lit up every car that's tried me. And in the canyons, they ALL lose heavily..
The truck is for all the fun stuff of a 4x4 and haulin' the family.

If your going to race a cobra in reverse I know that my HEMI will beat it... but to make things fair put a 1000 pound trailer on the back of that mustang and then we might get to a fair race.
My buddy with his Omni GLHS says bring on all the pus'stangs you can wrangle up and he'll be happy to help them part with their money. And for that matter give me a few more months of playin with my Grand National and I'll be more than happy to re-educate a few on how a V6 will show them who owns who.
And as for a low 15 second truck goes, that isnt slow... go back and look at the 1/4 mile times of the late 60's early 70's muscle cars, there are quite a few of them that if you took a stock version of them today and placed them versus my truck, you'd find that I could not only hang with a majority of them, I would even beat some too. And considering that the tranny in the trucks has a traction control program built into it helping to eliminate wheelspin and a mustang doesnt, I coud see how a truck could get the jump on one if the 'stang driver wasnt either very careful or really experienced.
Other than that this is right up there with some of the rest of the stupid pissing contests of comparing cars versus trucks.

Oh ya... well my truck can out smoke yours! My smoke can be seen from 10 miles away...!
Sweet pic. I wuold have to think that the Ram truck has been on the ENVO hit list for some time. With the adition of the HEMI I think they rolling in their graves...
