Default Hello Fellow RAM Truck Fans

I'm new to the Dodge Forum. Just cancelled out of the Chevy Forum. I sold my 1990 Silverado and purchased a 2003 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 4x4. This is a loaded truck with the Laramie package. This is the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Truck has 80K miles on the odo. Most of my driving will be from home to the train station (2.5 miles one way). I've owned a 1976 Power Wagon in the past and it was a tank! The truck rusted away around the running gear. It started and ran fine the day I gave it away. I'm hoping the 5.7 Hemi treats me as well.

Good swap. A few years ago I sold my 92 GMC to get an 03 Ram. It was in great shape and had just a tick over 105k miles. I did enough mods to keep it current - nobody ever guessed it was a 92.

Oh, and my 03 just turned 76k miles

Old truck:

98 style front shell, clear headlights (with 4-lamp high beam rewire)

TBI spacer, Hypertech Power Charger, MSD coil and wires, tbichips.com 'hot chip', electric fan conversion, Corvette servo in transmission, hollowed intake silencer and K&N filter, KYB MonoMax shocks, Yukon wheels
