I told my wife she can learn to hop in or pull herself into the truck. My truck doesn't put up with accomodating for others nor does it give up any of it's manliness. Besides, everyone I personally know that has had any kind of steps has bent them one way or another... almost always offroad though.

That is what the JESUS handles are for between the windshield and the door, one for pulling yourself in and grabbing and yelling JESUS when I get a little wild!

Thanks for the reply. Everything was much clearer after i crawled under the truck. Only took me about 45 min for both sides. I got the stainless chrome plated ones and they look very nice, just hope they hold up to the climate live 2 blocks from the beach. Im looking to put on some chrome bed rails anyone have any suggestions.
theyll do fine. i live 5 blocks from the beach. i had them on for the last 9 months. oh, i have westins in too. where do you live at being 2 blocks from the beach?

I am 300, and they do fine. I understand that I don't need them either but my fiance couldn't into the truck so I had to get them.

lol, well I hate to say it, but my vertically challenged wife holds all the cards in certain aspects of the relationship... If she wants something within reason, she gets it...

My wife is 5'4" and her Hummer doesn't have any nerf bars either. The deal was:

- You can have any SUV you want (basically any Hummer you want)

- But you can't have nerf bars. If you want nerf bars, then keep your mustang so you can climb in and out with ease.

Sometimes you need to lay down the law. Now if she wants beige walls instead of white, or Casino Royale color granite countertops instead of Baltic Rain, or this dining table over that, that's allfine.

Thanks all: Ordered mine from Amazon last weekand they arrived earlier today. Installed them after I got up this afternoon (Night shift/Day sleeper). Piece of cake after studying the instructions and reading posts here.
