Default '03 Ram 4.7L QuadCab - Stalling!

Hey guys,
I've searched the numerous posts on RAM stalling to see if my question had been answered, and only submit this new thread because I have a slightly different question.

I'm not a mechanic, and am generally not well-versed in working on my truck, but am very mechanically inclined. Over the weekend I did the relatively easy procedure for taking the radio out of my truck to see if it was compatible for an aux-in adapter to use an iPod, etc. Turns out it was.

As directed, I disconnected the negative lead from the battery terminal before removing my tuner. After putting everything back together and going for a drive later that day, I discovered I now have a STALLING issue with the truck!!! Startup, idling and normal driving seems fine, but I noticed it when shifting from Drive to Reverse - the truck stalled. Now, EVERY time I shift the truck from Drive into Neutral the truck will stall. Same thing when going from Reverse to Neutral. When going from Drive to Reverse to back up (in which I have to go 'past' Neutral) if I don't quickly go by Neutral it will stall. This is all at a complete stop, with my foot on the brake.

THEN it happened after a ride, when I was pulling into my driveway, I was slowing down and making a right hand turn and the truck stalled, no brakes, steering, etc.

What happened!?!?!? Did pulling the neg cable reset my PCM - causing performance issues? Is this coincidence? I've seen other posts on numerous other causes for stalling, but cant help but wonder if disconnecting the batt and pulling the radio has somehow caused the stalling...

Thanks,
Jeff

I had the same type of probelms with my 4.7 in my '03.

My advice is always to go back to where you were working when all of the sudden you start having issues.
You said you disconected the battery cable, I think that is where you issue lies. Clean those post, check those cables and make sure you have a good connection there. I think that is your problem, the cable is losing connection and without a good ground you are dead...
