Default Rattle going over small bumps

I noticed an odd rattle coming from my passenger front end of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 while going over bumps, even small bumps at low speeds. It was definitely coming from somewhere on the passenger front end. Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same problem with my 02. It was a broken sway bar link. Might want to check that first, you should also check your tie rod end.

Could be just about any bushing or anything in the front end. Mine does it and I could really use new shocks, and have a slight movement (more than normal) in my tie rod ends and I'm sure it could be either one or even both on my truck...jack it up and grab a pry bar and start torquing on every joint down there and find the one that moves more than you think it should

My '03 does it too and I really think it is the grill portion of the hood rattling against something because it kinda sounds plasticky. I checked suspension and everything is tight.

A "rattle" is different from a "clank", so many will convey different sounds, but none the less there are a lot of parts up there to make noises. Start grabbing everything, if it makes a noise you will be able to move it and re-create the sound.

Good luck on finding it. I just spent 20 minutes under mine, beating everything I could with a rubber mallet trying to find my rattle noise. I have my sway bar off and the only thing I could get to make some noise is the front propeller drive shaft (from the transfer case to the front diff.) But I really don't think that's the same noise. But I believe we have the same rattle noise; slow speeds, even minor bumps will have a loud, metallic, rattle (not a clunk). Everything on the suspension aspect feels tight and solid.

Oh wait a minute!!!!
I wonder if it's all the broken pieces of my dash that have fallen into the internals lol

Could be about anything but I'd start by looking at the bushings and shock mounts...

Mine does it too. Thinking it might be the stone guard behind the brakes.

Idk if mine is same or not, but I'd describe mine more as a knock. I am thinking (hoping) shock as I want to level it anyways, so I have an excuse buy Blistein 5100's! Let you know if I find anything though.
