Tires are expensive no matter what and it depends on what kind of rubber you are looking for. I spent $700 for my rubber(275/60/20 LTZ's)3yrs ago. I can't imagine they would be more than $850 now.
Eitherway, I have always oredered from Discounttiredirect or Tirerack because not one local competetor could come close to their price after shipping and mount/balance fees. Plus, no tax on out of state ordered items.

+1 on the Tire Rack

It helps that I live a 1/2 hr from their headquarters

They have a full time mount and balance shop on the premises plus a small road track for tire testing and weekend competitions.

Is anyone running a 305/70R17 on a 3rd Gen? I have a 2.5 inch leveling kit and want to know what kind of offset you have on the rims before I buy a Nitto Terra Grappler Rim Combination.

Thanks

I tried to get Tire Rack to mount 305's on mine but they refused due to the 8" wheel width and the 8.5 - ? required for the 305
