Half charcoal / half khaki interior?
About 2 days after purchasing my Ram 1500, I noticed that from the dash and down, it is all charcoal-colored, and the "oh crap" handles and up are khaki-colored, including the ceiling. It's like they ran out of charcoal parts halfway through building the interior of my truck. Does anyone else have the interior built like this, or is mine "unique"?
Really?
Mine is light gray half way up, and charcoal on the bottom...what year do you have?
BTW: The reason they do light colors on headliner and upper parts of cars is because its actually alot cooler, i used to have a black suede headliner(custom) in my BMW X5 and it looked sweet, but damn it was hot.

Mine is a 2005. I guess it makes sense because of that, but it looked really odd at first.
I remember the options for interior being charcoal OR khaki, but it looked like an even mix of both and I thought I got an incorrectly-built interior. It's an even separation, where the corner and side window rails and up are all khaki.

The light/dark combo is just the way it's done now, often with a half-dozen different textures, as well. [:'(] Someone seems to think it's "KEWL," or at least "continental," I suppose. I was taught to design around the concepts of theme and variation. Often today we have plenty of variation and little theme, imho.
I still like everything ONE color!!! and that's the way it's done when I redo.
Oh, well...
