BORLA/MAGNAFLOW/GIBSON????
im trying to decide which exhaust system to go with for my 04 hemi. i want a stainless system and i want performance and muscle sound. im looking for a dual rear exit. borla systems were almost 800 bucks, magnaflow was a little better and gibson was lower than both. looking for suggestions here. thanks. what are most running with and how do you like them. ive heard flowmasters sound good but do not last...?
Not sure what cab or bed you got but, try this http://www.proficientperformance.com...&Store_Code=PP
Borla split side for under $600. Can't beat that!

I have a dual out rear magnaflow and I love it. Deep throaty sound, but not to bad at crusing speeds on the freeway. Really sounds tough when you get on it though. Nice System
I've got a JBA cat-back system. It's stainless steel and only a single side exit. A few people have commented that it sounds better than the Flowmaster. I only paid $247, plus $60 to install. When I got it, it was too cold outside to mess with installing it on my own. So I went to a local muffler shop. And they were totally impressed with the JBA.....from the sound, to the looks, to the fit and finish. And they deal in Magnaflow.
Go to this site and click on the '03 Ram HEMI. I've got a 4.7 and it sounds just like the HEMI clip. JBA Website
Since adding it, my truck has a lot of "giddy up." I'm totally satisfied with the performance boost.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3 listed. Just keep JBA in mind.
Just for reference, I think Mopar's "performance" exhaust is built by Borla.

I been wanting exhuast last long as ive owned the truck. I really just dont have the kinda of money to through a 400-600 dollar system on there. And just changing out the muffler seems good enough. I want duel exahust with duel tips. I never considered JBA. You only paid $250 How much more for a duel exit system? Do they make it?

I just had a FM 1 into 2 muffler put on and the pipes bent at the muffler shop. I paid $135.00 for this. I have noticed that buying a cat back system is far more expensive than having a muffler shop bend one for you. I would have paid a little more had I wanted the chrome tips, but I can't find a set I like. The price would have been a little higher, too, if it wasn;t charged to my brother-in-law and his garage. I would have paid about $160-$175, but this is still cheaper than a cat back. But, to answer your question . . . get the Flowmaster (even if it wasn't one of your options).

I got it from AJ-USA. I put it in the online shopping cart, forgot about it for a couple days, then went back to the site and looked at it again. The price skyrocketed to $489. But in my cart it still said $347. I emailed the company and they said that was a short term sale that just ended the morning I emailed them. But, since it was still in my cart for $347, they would honor that price. BADDA-BING!! On top of that, they offer free shipping.
I HIGHLY recommend AJ-USA. They have excellent customer service and know how to please the customer.
BTW, no, unfortunately JBA doesn't offer a dual exhaust system. If you really want duals and a smaller target price, I agree with Scratch, except on the Flowmaster of course. LOL. Just get a muffler with dual exits from any of your 3 choices, and have a shop custom bend pipes. But I don't know if shops stock stainless steel exhaust piping.
Good Luck.
John
