Monroe struts with level kit???
Hi everyone, new here. I just installed new monroe struts in my 2006 1500 4x4 with the hell bent steel 2 inch level kit. My question is now the front sits about 1.5 inches higher than the rear and there is a noticeable vibration in front when accelerating in 4wd. Once you are at speed and are just cruising there is no vibration. I am trying to decide if I should lift the rear now to make it level or just take out the level kit and return it? I searched this topic and seems hit or miss. Here is a pic of the front cv joint angle because I am assuming that is where the vibration is coming from. Looking to see what others have done with this or are you just dealing with the vibration? Thanks
did you have an alignment done after installing the parts? Thats the first thing to do after changing anything geometry wise, I would also even look into re balancing the tires for piece of mind. How are the differences in tire diameter also in relation to the rear? And for what its worth noting if your doing this on dry pavement it could amplify the problem if you have a slight difference in tire size.
I have got a vibration in acceleration in 4x4 after installing my 2" Hell bent leveling kit as well. (I'm not positive it started immediately after the install because I didn't use 4x4 for some time after) I have not had a chance to chase exactly where its coming from yet, but my cv's don't look to be on too sharp of an angle, but maybe it is.
Im looking at a Rough Country kit 2 1/2" front 1 1/2" rear and they had this note next to there product which im fully aware of the issue.
(Rough Country's 2.5" lift kit includes front strut extensions, stud extensions, 1.5" rear blocks and u-bolts, and rear Nitro shocks. Note: Under hard acceleration in 4x4 high, unlifted Dodge Ram’s often have a front end vibration or shutter. This vibration or shutter exists due to the design of the motor and differential mounts and is inherent in the vehicle. This vibration or shutter may be more pronounced after a leveling kit is installed due to additional torque from modified driveshaft angles. This does not indicate a problem, but should be a consideration prior to installation.)
im just curious on how well the lifted front end gonna hold up when i pound the hell out of it when im at silver lake sand dunes next summer..Being stock she held up good after 3 trips up there over the summer.

Thanks for the replies. The tires are new about 500 miles ago and yes a alingment was done after install. I guess my real question is has there been any long term damage from this issue and has anyone also ran into the front now sits higher than rear?
I have the 2 1/2 inch blocks. I think they are the heavy metal ones. I have the vibration also in 4x4. I also got the spring squeak now. Sounds like that is another issue if you have stock springs with lift. I love the way the truck looks level, but im thinking might have to remove the lift to see if it resolves my issues.
