Default About water leaking through the "A" post

I tried to find the last thread about this but decided to post a new one with a fix.
I have a 2008 Big Horn 1500 Ram Quad Cab with a sun roof. I have had small drips of water now and then from the grab handles on the A Post. Had gotten worse over the past couple of weeks. Not really happened when I washed the truck, until yesterday.

Did some digging on other forums and found that there are drains for the sun roof, guess the seal isn't too good so they needed a stand by, or more if the roof is open in the vent position and it rains.

I will attempt to post a couple of pictures.

The drains at the front are located on the lower A pillar behind where the wires run from the body to the door. I was able to locate them while forcing some water down the drains with a small peice of rubber tubing.

I cut the X off the end of the drain as this was allowing dirt and other debris to plug up the end. Flushed through some more water and no more leaking.

It's common to have those drains clog up, also the A/C drain can clog and lead to water in the passenger side floor.

Good post...
