Default Remote wire when using a line drop

So i have a 2008 1500 and i used to have a double din and that got stole and i dont have the money to put a new deck in so i am using the stock deck and do a line drop for the sub/amp. My question is, where do i connect the remote wire for the amp? I know you have to connect it to a wire that has power when the key is turned on. My problem is i dont have a test light, nor a fluke meter. So i was wondering if anyone has done this and if they could just tell me which wire to plug into. Thanks for any and all help
