Default 2002 Dodge Ram 1500: Engine Questions

Yes, I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, 4WD, 4.7L V8.
I would just like to know if I could drop my 4.7L, and put in a 5.9L V8.
Any-one successfully done this?
If so, could someone give me a simple walkthrough of what to do, or what problems I will probably run into? If it can even be done. Anything that needs to be replaced, or anything that needs to be switched up to handle the up in engine size. Anything at all will help me?

Well I have the 5.9 in mine, and as I'm debating about a rebuild / replacement engine, I posed that question to my mechanic as an option (actually to downgrade to the 4.7, main goal was fuel economy improvement LOL). Anyway I was quickly talked out of it, (the fuel gains wouldn't really be there) but mainly we have different trannies, there's a 46RE behind my 5.9. I don't know if you would just have to get a different TC or switch out the tranny as well with the engine swap. After talking with a few of my mechanic guys, I am just going to stick with the 5.9 and get her rebuilt when the time comes.

Sorry I wasn't more help, but I forgot all they said would have to be changed out in my scenario.
