Default Shock question

I bought some firestone air shocks and they do not work with my leveling kit, the shock diameter is larger than the inside diameter of the level. I could possibly modify the steel level block but I'm wondering if I do get the shock inside the block and it has tight tolerances hit a pot hole and the suspension extends does the angle of the shock change causing it to hit the side wall of the block. Does the angle of the shock change when the suspension extends. My truck is torn apart in the garage and I cannot check this myself could someone with 2500 let me know.

Thanks

I just saw your PM. Someone with a 2500 is gonna have to look at the setup to confirm. I think you'll be fine, but without being able to look, I don't wanna say for sure...
