Default which package would you buy?

Which package should I buy to level out the front of my 02 ram 2wd.

this first package I would only buy the spindles, which does not effect the steering column or anything, all factory settings stay the same

or this one, which is a little different.

I ended up with about 2.5" lift on mone up front. I think a 4" up front alone would give you a lot of "gangster lean". but if you have that problem you could alys throw on a longer rear shackle or a 1" block.

I like your analogy, that was what I was afraid of, I just wish the 3" was less expensive. But I quess that shows that the 4" may be a piece of trash

yes that is correct, but the rest of the stuff is to give you an extra 1" block in the back and to really give the ram a "lift" and I just want a "level". I called the company and they said I could purchase the spindles for just 279.

I am not the smartest person when it comes to this subject so I was just wondering if this was the way to go to level out a 2wd ram. I dont want to spend all this money on something that wont work or will give me trouble in the future.

After looking at everything ... that does look like the way to go. Will definitley work... no doubt. Look in the other thread we have going for the pic I just posted.

I'd either go with just the 3" spindles or if you want the whole thing a tad higher ... go with the 4" spindles and get a 1" block for the rear.

Course the 1" block and whether or not it gives you more spring wrap is another story

I believe that the first one is the Rough Country kit as it has the Heckthorne shocks. I bought the 6" kit for my ram and I havn't had any problems with my lift. I can say this though, those shocks are very stiff. One thing that you will need to look out for is whether or not your wheel/tire package will fit without rubbing. I noticed that the 4" lift spindle requires no more than 4.5" of backspacing, which means that the stock wheel will not work as it has greater backspacing.
