Default Official post for type of exhaust

Just curious to see what people have put on their rams. What kind of exhaust does everyone have.

As for me:

I went a little different and did a Gibson super truck exhaust, Sounds awesome

I went with a Ravin muffler, it was free, and 2 turndowns out of the muffler. Reduced the weight of the exhaust by half at least. The truck runs a bit better as well.

Flowmaster 50 Series muffler, with dual piping in front of Right Rear Tire. Sounds great, nice low, and LOUD, i love it, i know some guys knock flows, but ive had them on all my trucks since purchase, and ive never had any problems. They are great!

Didnt really notice gain or loss in power, kind of a neutral setup.

Pipe is 2.5 Inside diameter, and 3.25 inch Stainless tips.
Hemi, with nothing on it except exhaust.

well then mine is the loud one, i can hear it in the cab, and when its idling, and just about every time the truck is on. its not that bad though, plus im sound deadning it soon when i get my system put in, so i doubt it will be that bad at all after that.

I did tons of research on exhaust cause I'm about to do mine. I hear most people like flows for the sound. Personally, I'm going to go with magnaflow cause I believe they flow better. I was at my local speed shop and a guy there said gibsons are kind of low end. No matter what you do I highly recommend going stainless. A buddy of mine had his borla forever and it sounded great all the time. DTW has some good general info on exhaust. Not so much on preference, but rather on the tech side. Their server is crapping out on me right now so here is the home address.
