Guys im at a shop right now and these two mechs are arguing about trans fluid type to use in my 03' 1500 4x4 5.9.

Im saying its atf+4, sound right?

 

"Mopart ATF +4, Automatic Transmission Fluid is
the recommended fluid for DaimlerChrysler automatic
transmissions."

taken right out of the 2003 service manual. Call them idiots and never go there again, and tell anyone you know never to go there again.

 

atf4 for the t-case as well

 

Any ATF+4 is fine. I use Valvoline full synthetic myself...

Nah its a good shop, the guy arguing for the dextron was new. I dont think he'll be there very long at all.

Got the ball joints too. What a job.
