transmission fluid type

Default transmission fluid type

Guys im at a shop right now and these two mechs are arguing about trans fluid type to use in my 03' 1500 4x4 5.9.

Im saying its atf+4, sound right?

taken right out of the 2003 service manual. Call them idiots and never go there again, and tell anyone you know never to go there again.

Any ATF+4 is fine. I use Valvoline full synthetic myself...

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Havent been able to come on and thank you earlier.

Nah its a good shop, the guy arguing for the dextron was new. I dont think he'll be there very long at all.

Got the ball joints too. What a job.
