360 bucks just to drive it in the shop? Find another dealer, first off. If Dodge wants you to get it looked at, why aren't they paying for it anyway? At this point, I'd be much more concerned about the squeak in the rear than the wandering down the road.

First, open the fill plug in the rear differential and check the fluid - it should be filled to the bottom edge of the hole. If that looks okay, someone probably needs to take a look in there. We can't hear the sound it's making, so hard to say where it's coming from or what might be causing it. Does it sound like maybe the brakes are binding up back there and that sound is just from them releasing to slow as you take off?

dodge will step in and pay for the diagonstics if they find something and its the going right for dodge dealerships up here so idk

as far as the squek if i just have the truck in drive and have it go under it own power in my driveway its like a universerl on the shaft the seems bad but i checked it and theres no play. the rearend is perfect on fluid pulled the cover off and checked gears and such all good maybe its in the transfer case
