Default At 30K, what to do?

So much truck rolled over 30,000 miles on my home for winter break. So now I'm just wondering what I should do to keep everything running right. So far from what I've read I should be looking at spark plugs and a transmission fluid change. What would I need to do these things? I'm talking like EVERYTHING from tools to fluid and every piece that I need inbetween. I'm really really new to this whole DIY stuff but I'm trying to learn because it really saves a stain on the wallet of a broke college student like myself and its fun to do. So far I know of staying with copper plugs and that I need ATF +4 trans fluid. How much would I need though? Also since I haven't really asked for anything for christmas yet I was thinking of throwing the items I need on the list =). Thanks in advance guys.

"By the book", new plugs. However, that can probably wait another 10K or so. Tranny fluid is not due 'til 60K, but the diff needs some attention. Clean/replace the PCV valve, clean the throttle body. New air filter, probably. A Sea Foam dose couldn't hurt.

Tranny fluid is fine until 60K like mentioned above. Copper plugs (Champion or NGK V-Power) and pull the diff cover if you have limited slip to check the clutch clips.
