NOS octane booster

RE: NOS octane booster
octane boosters that are "store" bought from a can do very little and are usually very crappy quality.
"Torco" IS a good company however its hard to find in a retail store...I used to buy it by the case online. Expensive though at around 10 dollars per bottle.
For the MAJORITY of vehicles....octane booster will yeild you virtually NO performance gains.
I wouldnt even waste your money on the octane booster for your truck.
I used to use octane booster on my WRX (which was running 18psi) and I used it a few time on my supercharged Cobra running 14Psi.
it will hardly do anything for unboosted or n/a applications such as the hemi engine.
***BTW...if you have the hypertech set at the 87 or 93 octane tune.... then why would you want to raise your octane past that point???

RE: NOS octane booster
I think you need to leave your truck alone, you try street racing to much, its a truck man, i read the post about you apparently hanging with that Cobra, i think its bull****, but whatever, i say that you just do some basic boltons, i mean, NOS octane booster sounds like a gimmick without me even seeing it. Im not trying to be a dick, but its a truck, i you want fast, buy one of those cobras that you raced, or a car, trucks arent for racing imo.
