left head light bulb.
Question, I think my bulb is burnt out, and yes, this sounds like a dumb question!!!
Are thier three phases to a hallogen head light bulb?
day time running lights work, high beams work, low beams don't work on the left side.
Sylvania silver stars are what I have now, will soon replace with ????.
I ask this question because all the fill aments ( sp) light up, just not when using low beams.

Boy I hope you don't have the same problem as I did...
I had the same thing as you described. After swithing bulbs and finding the same thing, I knew it was something more serious. It ended up being my 'Totally Integrated Module'. This is the module right behind your left headlight. I confirmed by tracing the wire for low beams right to it. After checking all my connections I tapped the side of the module. Click - the light went on. Worked for a day or two and went out again. Tapped again and sure enough it went on again. Loose connection within the module.
Confirmed this with the dealership, and thank goodness it was covered under my warranty, because this module is a $1,000 to replace!
Hope you still have warranty or this isn't the problem. Oh, and I also have a '06 Ram Hemi, so we probably have the same module for what it's worth.
Flagman.

I'm thinking it could just be the bulb, fidgeting with the lens case and where i can reach the wires ( took out air box ) has not allowed the low beam to work, I will not know until I get a new bulb.
I have not tapped the module and to be honest, I had no idea thier is one!
as for warenty, long ago left me some where betwean keeping my truck and getting a new one.
If a new bulb dosent work, I thank you for the heads up with the module.

I have issues, left bulb works on the right side, left bulb not working on the right side, for now I'm running with my day time running lights with fogs at night. I will get more into this at a later date.

it sounds like just your bulbs need replacing, the Daytime running light uses the hig beam filament but at a lower voltage thus less light given off. the regular headlight uses the second filament in the bulb.
