Hey guys, whats the story with this? Was checking #'s on my PCM for a tech and noticed this. A new sticker with this on it on top of the original one. What was the purpose of the update? The new sticker reads 161ab sequence 878050.

 

There's similar stickers on mine as well. Id have to look at the sticker to see if the numbers are similar.

 

It just means that it was updated at some point for either an emissions or driveability issue. Nothing special, it was before the wide spread dealer network use so that all dealers would know it was updated.
