I jsut came across a helluva deal on some 33/12.50r17 mickey thompson baja claw radials. the guy had them 3 months and just got a 6 inch lift. He let me have them for 500. What kind of rims are yall running with the 12.5 inch wide tires? Im looking at some from 4wheel parts that are "rock crawler" brand. They seem pretty decent, and the cheapest ones i could find. I dont want to put any more money into this truck than i have to since its my daily driver. I bought it so I could work on my other car more often(cammed lt1 trans am). So any input is appreciated

 

My tires are 12.2 inches wide and I have stock rims.

 

Hey that sounds familiar... From what I hear they should work on the stock 17' rims, and might have a little cupping, but that is still might...

 

ha, thats great, Mines a 95 too. Have you done much to it? It was hard only getting the 4.7 v8 instead of the hemi, but when i want to go fast, I opt for the trans am. But on the clearance issue, I have less than an inch in between the tire sidewall and the upper a arm. the tires now are like 285's i think, and goin up to a 12.5 would DEF rub. i ended up buying some rock crawler rims from 4wheel parts. I'll post some pics wheni get them wends

Not much is done to it, just a few little things, it has been my daily driver until recently, next year though look out!!!
