Question Possible bearing going out.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I have an 06 ram 1500 2wd. I recently started hearing a noise that sounded like a rock rolling around in tthe hub cap that gradually became a constant grinding. I assumed it was my front drivers side hub bearing, because thats where it sounded like it was coming from. I bought a new bearing and brake pads, jacked up the truck took everything apart and the bearing is tight wwith no bad movement and no grinding noise. Put it back together and drove it and decided the noise is coming from the rear. I know I need new brake pads on the rear. I jacked up the rear tire that I think is guilty put it in neutral and releases the parking brake. When I try to spin the tire to listen I can't spin it freelymaybe get 2 inches of rotation with a lot of effort and noise. Im wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be doing this. Or ways to check to see if it is the hub bearing, possible brake problems or ive also been told it might be the carrier bearing. I'm very new to tackling problems with my truck so any help is a big help. Thanks!
