im not sure this is the best place to post this but i just started a deal on a 2002 dodge ram im finishing up tomarrow and i figured i might as well join up since i got the truck. just a few things first off its a auto 4.7 its getting lowered 2/4 front coils and rear flip kit. with some chrome 24's then its gettin turned into a spl truck. i know most of u think this is a waste of truck but i am only 23 and i like things like this. newayz look fwd to spending some time here

Welcome. Droppin' it isn't exactly my cup of tea, but this site's about everybody's different ideas, so if you're happy with it when you're done, that's about all that matters.

Why is the guy selling the truck? That is the first and most improtant question. There could be lurking headaches. As long as the drop is a quality job and not a flip kit and coil chop you're probably okay. Just my .02

Never mind. Thought you said it was already lowered and in the process of being turned into a SPL truck. No exactly my thing, but they are still impressive in thier own right. As A side note, my friends uncle participates with his 02 mustang. He has replaced all the windows with plexi, the rear seats have all been removed and a custom fiberglass/concrete enclosure has been made. I can feel my guts turning inside out when he cranks it up (via remote of course). Absolutely incredible.

im thinking cut out crawl spaced with 6 12's in about a 20 plus foot vented box. im still under though. im trying to get the dealership to work with me on the pricing of the truck but i pretty much am getting it no matter what. standard cab short bed 2wd auto 4.7 no power factory cd 36,000 for 10,990. i offered 6500 trade in for my 2001 concorde with 37,000 miles and 10,500 for the truck. but we will see
