best sounding exhaust
im lookin for mostly stock look just a lil better mpg and some power wouldnt hurt. i just mostly want the mpg. my rims will be taking a couple mpg so i need them back some how. newayz i am thinking of using the stock pipe with a magnaflow muffer as of right now. then when i get some cash get a better one
I have a series 40 flowmaster with dual out the back. I don't think its too loud, but I guess that depends on the person definition of loud. My friend has the same headers and set up on his 97 5.9L and his sounds louder but I don't think it really is, it just has a different sound because my truck has the Hemi. I do admit I like the sound of his better, but I'm glad I have a Hemi. I have a friend that has the same set up with the series 50 and his is too quiet for my liking, but it still has a good sound to it that flowmaster is know for, but you can hardly hear it when it is just idling and I don't like that.

I have Magnaflow, I got the bigger one so it wouldn't be so loud too, I don't care for blowmaster, never have, over-rated, over-priced.

Go with the gibson there not to expensive and they sound the best all around.. forget flowmaster they sound like **** and ive heard from many people w/ magnaflow that they r way to quiet...

It seems everyone says if you go with duals you will drop some HP and torque.

you dont actually loose horsepower, it moves the powerband up if back pressuse goes down, so you have less power at a lower RPM but you never really loose it
