Sounds like you have a week-old bad battery. Will it start if you jump it? Could be the battery temp sensor, but I don't think you'd get the click if it's bad.

if all your connections are good- and you're sure they are, I would hold the starter suspect.. Even if the battery is low, it would still try to engage the flexplate.. and either not turn it, or turn it silly slow- before it resorts to that 'clicking'..

when they 'test' them, they aren't tested under load.. I couldn't tell you how many starters I've seen personally that 'tested' fine, but were bad..

Can you turn the engine over with a pry bar on the crank?
It might be too hard to do with all the plugs in, so bear that in mind.
It's a pain to remove the plugs on a Hemi but, you could remove 8 of them - one per cylinder, to see if you can turn the engine over by hand.
Did you just go out one day to the truck to start it and it just wouldn't?
Was the truck running OK previous to this issue?
Oil levels, coolant and no overheating issues previously?
If the engine won't turn over "by hand", she's siezed in some way.
I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that.
Al.

did you by chance buy a reman? those are sometimes bad out of the box too.. again, they are tested without load.. it's a dang crap shoot, especially in today's questionable QC.

oh, that would suck hugely.. but even then, a good starter with good juice would initially attempt to engage the flexplate and stop butt cold (and briefly draw enough amperage to dim lights, ect..).. a bad starter or bad juice would do the clicking thing straight from the get-go..

bad connection.

pull it again, brush both the terminal and the post off with a wire brush, dust it off with a foxtail, and put good ol' vasoline on both the terminal and post.. you will NOT corrode with that stuff on them, and you'll have nice clean connections.
