Hey, I had given up and thought I would be driving my 04 ST for another couple of years till I could accept the upside downism of my truck. I was very fortunate to have a dealer that must have been in trouble and needed to get rid of some inventory.

Then my break light is leaking so I guess it is awash> LOL.

 

that happend to me, i just goty some silicone and put a couple drops and lines and it covered it all up

 

Phatboy, would you mind telling me what dealer you got that from? and what the sticker price was on the truck? I'm looking at basically the exact same truck and would love to get a better deal on it.

 

I dont have the window sticker, there wasnt one on it. The dealer is Augusta Dodge, www.augustadodge.com I am guessing it was a demo, had 1100 miles on it. The sticker on similar ones on the lot wer in the 35-38 range. The Laramies were near 40.

I looked over the paperwork just too make sure I was on the ball, and they did the math on the contract as 19 trade in on mine and 24 on theirs. So that adds up to the 17 for mine and the 22 for theirs. I guess they did that for the banks sake.

I have a friend at another dealership, about 20 minutes away that offered me the same buy price but wouldnt put as much in my trade.

Black Acid, as far as the back window they told me their was a replacement part that they would get to fix it. Can you send me a couple of pics on where you put the silicone?

 

My sis inlaw has an 04 ram 4x4 qc and came over to tell me she had a leak in the rear window today. I couldnt resist had to show her this thred lmao im always ragging on her cause she has a 4.7 all in good fun tho sweet truck she has, anyway off to the stealer with her next week, hope they fix it.

I actually don't live far away at all, just over a ways in Montgomery, AL. The dealers here are ridiculous, you can't get a good price without offering oral satisfaction to the salesmen, and I don't feel like going that path.

I don't guess that I'll be able to pull the same 22k deal on a brand new (5 miles) truck, since yours had a teency bit of miles on it (i wish i could find the same deal). Sticker on the 2 trucks I'm interested in are 37,135 and 40,285 - both are white, quad cab, 4x4's with hemi's, only difference is the 40k has SLT and ThunderRoad packages (I'd prefer this one) and the 37k is SLT and Sport group, both have trailer tow. But the best price on both I've found at 2 different dealers (both in NC) is 30,9k for the 40k truck, and 27,9k for the 37k truck. It'd make the deal for me if i could talk eihter down to 25k or so.

I'm not looking to trade or anything, I'd like to keep the stable I already have, just - add to it, but I've heard on here of so many people getting ridiculously better deals than I have ever been offered and, I'd rather find out how to do that then do the walk of shame when I say what I paid for my Ram.

My friend at Thomson motor center told me he could have gotten me the same price on a 5 mile red Ram they had. I can check with him if you want me to.

If they had been able to give me more for my trade I would have bought it from them.

Birmingham isnt that far away, especially to keep from having to offer oral favors to get a deal. LOL.

If you check on that www.jeepcheap.com do a search on ram 1500 4x4, they have it listed MSRP at 34,121 which is cool because MSRP is BS. LOL.

The dealership is right off of I-20 also, so you shouldnt have any problem getting there.

I DONT THINK YOU WOULD HAVE ANY ISSUES GETTING THEM DOWN TO 25K. I know it is an SLT and it has the Tow Package. I dont think it is a laramie. Looks like your dealer is really a nutjob if they are trying to hose you like that.
