Will these tricks also disable the flash of the parking lights, or horn only?

 

i have also had the same problem trying to disable the chirp on my 06 so thanks for the info. I have also tried to change the lock to where only the driver door unlocks the first time you press the remote and also so that the doors will automatically unlock when the truck is put into park. I cant get either of these functions to work either with the procedure from the manual. any info would be appreciated!!

HORN CHIRP DISABLING / ENABLING
The horn chirp can be toggled using a scan or by using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter that is already programmed to the vehicle.
To DISABLE (cancel) the horn chirp feature:
[ol][*]Enter the vehicle and close all doors.[*]Fasten the seat belt (this will cancel the seat belt chime).[*]Turn the ignition to the ON position.[*]Press and hold the LOCK button for 4 seconds. Within 6 seconds with the LOCK button still depressed, press the UNLOCK button. When a single chime is heard, release both buttons.[*]Turn the ignition OFF.[*]Turn the ignition ON or wait 60 seconds.[*]Test the horn chirp feature by pressing the LOCK button.
If a chime is not heard, program mode was canceled before the feature could be disabled. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
To ENABLE the horn chirp feature, repeat the above procedure. [/ol]

Anybody tried this method from "Parts/Service" on an 07 yet?

 

SWEET! It works --- I did both teh 'Total Unlock' Mod & the 'Horn/Chirp Delete during Lock' Mod using the key fob on my '07. The procedure is found in the Owner's Manual on pp 20-21(The famous press Lock/Unlockwithin 4 secs, then press Lock/panic & then release method). Missin' my Rubicon, but diggin' my Ram more and more everyday. JL

Hi, i bought a 2007 ram on july, and i want to disable the alarm horn when i close the door but it's not work. On manual there is igniton On, put 4 seconde unlock, press lock... but not work.
Can you explain exactly what you make to disable your alarm? Are you on car? Are you in and igniton ON 4 seconde?? 3month search but no result.

I search solution for me on the search parts but i haven't look when was the message.

 

Have 2002 Dodge Van W/ factory remote door locks. The key fob only has LOCK and UNLOCK buttons, NO panic button on it. When I use the unlock button, 9 out of 10 times the horn in panic mode goes off. Is there a way to disable that and still be able to use the remote lock , unlock feature ?
