A little spray does go a long way. I usually hit the engine compartment every so often at the car wash. As long as you aren't sitting there spraying the everloving crap out of the electrical components they hold up fine.

or you can just install an Heavy Duty Aux Transcooler inline with the factory Trans cooler. You can get these from Uhaul, Autozone, Advance, etc. I work at Uhaul and they are $81.00.

So you can do the upgrade to the 2500/3500 or just install an inline trans cooler and you can put it in-front of your AC cooler(#4).

It only took me about 30 min to install the Aux Heavy Duty Trans cooler from Uhaul.

So far I haven't needed a block heater, but they are so handy. Last year I was a little worried when it was -35 below, it started but it whined for about 5 minutes.
The bigger tranny cooler would ne nice in the summer, but when it's cold out I have a hard time keeping mine at 100 degree's F, and I live up Noth....

52029089AB, get it from an online parts house, will be cheaper than a dealer. The deeper pan with fins is also a good idea.
