"Lights behind grille" brackets?
On some website I found brackets that bolt down to the radiator support bolts (the pair left and right) to mount aux lights. Now I can't find that website any more. Does anybody have an idea where to find those? I remember the guys that make those brackets make light bars as well.
I mounted 4 lights so I needed the bar with the tabs that are extended out a bit, four lights don't fit if you drill holes, but if your only doing two then ,like specialedjon mentioned, that would be an easy and cheap way.
If you can't fab some up, go to the local hardware store, Lowes, etc. and look. It amazes me how many places out there basically copy a pipe hanger or other common $2 hardware item and sell it at specialty truck/off-road places and charge stupid money for it.
I know guys who drop $35 a piece on light tabs that snug around grill guard bars that are just a buck and a half pipe bracket that someone powdercoated.
But I guess there's an a$$ for every seat, as they say...

I was thinkting of simply drilling holes but those brackets/tabs would bring the lights a bit closer to the grille and probably would make them a bit more effective.
I might just see if I can fab something from a piece of flatiron.
