This may be a dumb question but I can't seem to find the information so maybe someone out there knows. I have the opportunity to get brand new 275/60-20 tires on new 2011 ram 1500 stock rims for really cheap but I want know if they will fit on to a 2003 ram 1500 4x4 that came stock with 245/70-17 ?
If anyone can answer this or point me in the right direction that would be great.

 

Yes, they will fit. The stock 2003 20" tire was 275/55/20, so your speedo will be off by a hair (if that). Nothing that isn't correctable by a programmer.

 

Ok thank you, I just wasn't sure if the changed anything with the gen 4 rims

 

Only time you'd run into problems was if you were trying to put 2001 and earlier rims on a 2002 or later ram. The brakes are bigger and wouldn't allow for the older ram 16" rim to fit.

 

They will fit , 2003 and up.

 

Will raise the truck and you might have to get the speedometer recalibrated.
