Default A/C unit lighted or not?

Bought my friends 2005 dodge rumblebee. I noticed that the a/c area isn't lit up, except the actual a/c on indicator and the defrost button.

Is the fan speed, temp and air direction buttons supposed to be lit up? Is a fuse dead maybe?

Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly the regular units have replaceable bulbs and the dual-zone have bulbs soldered onto the board.

Agreed, bulbs are burnt out and need to be replaced. More than a few threads on this and how to.
