Default How Do I Run New Speaker Wire Through Doors?

I have an 02 1500 Quad Cab that has the nice factory wiring harness from the doors to the cab. Does anyone know how to remove it from the cab side? I want to run new speaker wires from all 4 doors but when I try to push wire through the boot the wire wont go all the way through, it appears the boot ends at the cab with a plug connection. How do I overcome this? Whats the best way to run wires through here?

There is a plastic plug that allows the doors to be unplugged and removed. No old fashioned wires through the cab ordeal. This plastic connection is what is stopping you from putting the wires through the wire loom. The only way to get around this is to find an empty spot in the harness where no wires are going through and drill a hole through so you can feed your wire.
There's no other option unless you were to run your wire outside the loom and into the door that way(sloppy)

Actually there is one more way. On some installs I have used my meter to ohm out or do a continuity test to find the speaker wires and then cut them before they go into the plug through the body and connect speaker wires to them there.

Default Problem Solved

Thanks alot guys, I was finally able to get it done, here's how:
First I removed the rubber boot from the outside side of the cab then I was able to push the plastic clips in on the plastic wire loom to remove it. (I think there's 4, 2 on each side.) For the front all I had to do was notch a piece of the plastic between the two plugs and I was able to pass the wire through, I made sure to get rid of any jagged edges and add a little electrical tape for extra security to the area where the wire passes through.
Then I ran the wire and put the rubber boot back onto the plastic plug bezel before pushing the entire assembly back into the cab till the tabs snap in place. (Make sure you put the boot on 1st before snapping it back into the cab!)
The rear was more of a pain, I notched a piece of plastic out of the top of the connector then notched the cab slightly so the wire actually runs on top of the connector, when the boot in back in place and snapped in the notching isnt noticeable.

It was a real pain to get the speaker wire through that small rubber boot! For the front not so bad used a long zip tie as a follow through with the wire looped on the end. The rear I had to push the wire into the middle of all the wires because of the tape residue, it held there and I was able to pull the rubber boot back until I saw the wire then pulled it through.

Hope this helps the next guy!
Weed, your product looks good, Ill be talking to you soon about that bezel!

Just make sure to check back on that wire in a fw months to make sure it's not getting chaffed, but then again, if you have a speaker cutting in/out or it's muted then you know what the problem is ahead of time..haha
