Less then 6 months ago i had both front axles replaced on my 06' QC 4X4 with 100k miles on it.

Was under the truck today (truck sitting on the ground) and noticed one of the axle seals is leaking. Not a big deal and i plan on changing it out, but the other thing i noticed was that both axles when you grab them in the middle move up and down have a noticeable amount of play. The drivers side has noticeably more play then the passenger side. I would say a little more then an 1/8 of an inch.

Is this normal?

Are you running stock axles?

 

Do you mean Dodge brand? i doubt they are Dodge parts. But i don't have any lift kit or anything like that if that is what you are asking. The axles were replaced recently because when they installed new struts they tore the boots on both axles.
