Hello, I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 HEMI 4x4 SLT.. truck says SLT/ST on the vin check. But when I go to buy parts from like autopartswarehouse, for the 2003 model they only have base as a submodel. Is this all the same in 2003? I asked the website tech support and they told me my vin checks to be base submodel. But my truck says SLT, and when I run the vin it says ST/SLT. So.... is this the same as base in 2003? Will the parts I order fit?

 

I've browsed autopartswarehouse before and from what I've seen everything came up as "base model." But I don't think it would actually have any difference on the parts you order. For the most part the different trim packages just include power accessory upgrades. I guess the only thing to look out for is some models may have different overhead consoles, so if that's what your shopping for just make sure it's the right part.

 

If you have a overhead display console and cruise control then 99% chance you have SLT. Those are some of the accessories my 03 ST did not have. Center bench console is another.
