when i hook my trailer to my 08 ram the running light on the trailer come on WITHOUT the truck lights on and the right side of my truck lights are on too everything works when its hooked up brake lights and turn signals too, what could be causing it? when i had it on my toyota they worked right, i hooked up the dodge to my camper (same 7 pin plug) and everything works on the camper (but the lights dont stay on) any ideas?? thanks

 

Scratch that last post.... i rembered my brother had used the trailer and he had trouble with his plug so he "rigged" it i just un rigged it and all is well
