Default Adding cruise control to Hemi?

So I don't have cruise on my ST, but was wondering if I could add it? I see the don't have a mopar kit for it. Since IIRC the cruise in the hemi is electronic and controlled by pcm or something is it just as simple as getting the controls and a flash?

I'll trade my cruise control for a remote keyless entry and powerlocks. It's becoming a big pain to open the passenger door from the inside in this big truck ;-)

I'm guessing it cannot be that big a deal.

A couple years ago we bought a new Intrepid at night already owning a Concorde. I looked at the steering wheel and saw buttons where the cruise should be and didn't think... You guessed it, no cruise, just dumby buttons (appropriate I admit). Adding cruise was less than $300 (installed) and the dealer split that with me.

Check it out and if one dealer/parts person says no way, don't believe it. We heard that on the Intrepid at first.

All the best. Oh, also, In a pinch I have used the cheapo Audio-Vox system from JCWhitney on "electronic" cars with OEM-quality results, no problems. That could be another possibility.

Good luck.
