high flow cats?

Default high flow cats?

I'm wanting to put high flow cats on my 2005 dodge ram hemi. I have hedman headers and thrush muffler and xdi cai already. Wanting to know if they would help and what to go with?

Can not comment on if they would help or improved efficiency in air flow, but magnaflow seem popular.

Thats what ive heard. Just dont wanna waste money and really dont want a check engine light.

Stock cats are pretty high flow., which is why doing a cat delete isn't worth it. Installing high flow cats in place of a perfectly working stock cats wont do much for you.
Save you money and do something else with your exhaust like removing the stock 3ft long restrictive muffler to a NON-chambere muffler(i.e flowmaser or any other chambered muffler) go to a padded or straight thru muffler like Magnaflow or Borla
You can also get rid of the stock crushed Y-pipe. magnaflow has a nice one that guys use to replace the stock crushed one.

Alright thanks. I already have a thrush muffler but never thought of changing the y pipe

Ya I do lol don't want a check engine light. I've heard of people using o2 simulator s but nobody had anything good to say about them.

Funny, lots of guys here and other dodge boards have them and love them. Ive had zero issues and no CEL

There is a difference between simulators and non-foulers. Sims cost stupid money and are hit and miss. Non-foulers are $5 and work every time...
