Default SRT10 wheel help

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT single cab. The truck came with factory 17's and I put factory 20's on it that have 275/60/20 Goodyear Wrangler tires. The back wheels and tires have plenty of growth between the inside of the tire thats on there now and the leaf springs for a wider rim and tire. I have about a finger's width between the inside of the tires now and the A-arm on the fronts. I am wanting to get some of the factory 22" SRT10 wheels which are 22x10 whereas the 20's I have now are 20x9. The website I found that has the wheels and tires as a package offer the 22x10's with either a 275/45/22 or a 305/40/22 tire. My question is with the lack of space I have on the front as it is, will the rims and tires even fit on my truck whether I use either the 275's or the 305's and if they would, would it look bad and make the rims and tires stick outside of the body of the truck at the fenders of which I do not want. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Weedahoe- how does that 22" rim fit around the A-arm? Is it tall enough that it just clears it? And when u had ur 22's, how far outside of the body of the truck did they stick out?

Also Weedahoe, those wheels u have on that truck probably have a different offset than the SRT 10 wheels which would change how they fit

No rim or tire is going to touch or hit your upper control arm. They will fit just as your you have now fit.

305/45/22 is the same as 305/65/20. You are just trading tire height for rim diameter. Overall the outside diameter is a total of about 32/33" which is the same as what all trucks with stock 20s and tires have. So thats why clearance isnt an issue.

There are a ton of guys out there who pulled their stock 17s/20s off and either bought OEM SRT or SRT replica wheel and put them on.

My rims I had didnt stick out but thats only because of the backspacing and offset of the rims. SRT rims ere essentially a stock manufactured rim and pretty much any stock isnt going to stick out unless you put a wheel spacer behind it to MAKE it it stick out.

Weed pretty much hit it on the head. Its a stock wheel so you'll be fine. If anything I'm sure the backspacing or offset makes it fit

You will be fine. Its a OEM product for the Ram line. Rims are just as popular as the hoods.

Ok I appreciate it guys and yea it makes me feel a lot better for sure. I was just worried cause right now with the 9" rim I have, there is only about 1/2" between the tire and the upper control arm and going an inch wider had me worried. I do have one more question. Why does the website that I found the replica wheels offer a choice between a 275 wide tire and a 305 wide tire on a 12" wheel? I would think that the 275 wouldn't even fit right on it anyway
