LED Interior light conversion?
Once again, i tried a search with no luck. Unless i am missing something, their is no way to search one particular section of the forum or to select "Search titles only".
Anyhow, i have seen LED conversion kits for our trucks advertised but never saw one in person. Well today i saw a buddies Ford F150 with one of the $39.99 Ebay LED light kits and i was impressed. The lights are super bright and white. It looked really good. I found one that works with my 06' but before i buy one, is their any issues with LED interior lights flickering or not working properly like what happens with putting LED bulbs in the tail lights or anything? Seeing as their are no "Bulb Out" detection circuits for interior lights (that i am aware of), i would guess their would be no issues at all converting to LED interior lights.
Has anybody done this on an 06'?

So first - Google search "Dodge Ram Dome Light Bulb Type."
Our Dome light bulb size is "579." That means our bulbs are 42mm wide.
Head to eBay, and search "42mm white led" or click Here
Now, all you have to do is place these in the bulb sockets. Remember, LEDs have Polarity, so if it doesn't turn on the first time, flip it 180°.
Personally, I had the 6 LED bulbs, but then switched to the 12 because it looks better.

My question had nothing to do with finding the bulbs i need. I already found a package that includes all the bulbs i need. My question is whether their are any issues with using LED's since the lower wattage they draw is an issue in some applications.
Do the 12 LED versions fit in the dome and map lights as well? I am not against buying them individually if i can get brighter versions.
They have 16 LED versions too in 42mm:

If these fit, i imagine they would be super bright.

What I find is mine fail to turn on when you push the cover, but go on when you use the DOME position on the Rheostat.
I apologize for misunderstanding your question, that was my fault.
The 16's will just look like a solid white light. They are 16 small SMDs, compared to 12 medium sized SMDs or 6 large SMDs. You shouldn't see too much of a difference, or at least I didn't.
