Default low speed hesitation

I have an '05 ram hemi. and upon acceleration from a stop it sometimes hesitates and sometimes it kinda surges a few times before it gets going. a couple times it actually ran rough and i had to put it in N. and give it some gas to get it running right.
I'ts got 80k on it and i've had it a yr. so I haven't really done anything with it yet other than oil changes.
a couple times it also stalled on acceleration. But I've only had this troup;be at slow take offs.
Any ideas? seafoam?

Sounds like maintenance is WAY overdue. Plugs are due every 30k for starters, Throttle Body should be cleaned every 30k max, EGR should be replaced at 50k and a LOT of other stuff is overdue, consult your manual.

Oh and it wouldn't hurt to ground the throttle body while your cleaning it...

Sounds like its a good idea to do every maintenance item possible. New egr, pcv, and plugs. Clean (&ground) tb. Power steering, transfer case, and trans. Finish up with front and rear differentials. Sounds like a nice little weekend ahead of you

So, Sat. morn. Got the TB off and cleaned (ah, it needed it), new EGR, new pcv and was going to change plugs but no one in my litttle town has enough of them so I'll have to wait a couple days, and next Sat. will be 'plug' day and TB ground day.

thanks for all the help and advice.

Now, any tips or tricks i should know about ahead of time before i tackle those two plugs behind the master cylinder?

I use a deep plug socket for all but those back ones. I use a reg size one with a swivel adapter. It's not as bad as some make it seem but it's def minimum clearance. You can use a small chunk of hose when you put in the new ones. It helps to line it up and hand tighten without cross threading.
