i have an 06 ram with the radio and volume controls on the steering wheel they no longer function because of an aftermarket radio

can those buttons be used as buttons for other things say wire them to a relay to control something else

does anyone have a wiring diagram or list to help me determine what wires traill off of those buttons

id probably only use them for a aftermarket horn button or maybe a momemtary switch to power an actuator or whatever i figure i could salvage them and try and use em for something

 

Or you could get an interface module and use them for your stereo again.

 

Yes. But I honestly have no interest in returning their original functions. I'd rather use them for other functions.
