I have 05 1500 4.7 quad cab. Just today coming home from work my check guage light came on with the battery arrow all the way to H but truck was running fine. I don't know if it has something to do with my after market stereo system and amplifier or what? Can anybody help me.

 

i had a aftermarket system installed also with a code alarm and remote start. Mine did the same thing after i left the audio shop. The next day i went to the muffler shop to get my flowmaster installed and the guy there said that our trucks sometimes put out false readings and you have to reset the comp. So he turned the key to acc mode then off and a couple more times then it shut off it only lasted a couple days until i used the remote start. I'm not sure what is the cause.
