Default 2500 mirrors on a 1500

I would like to put 2500 towing "flip up" mirrors on my 1500. I have a 2008 1500 and my dad has a 2007 2500 and it looks like his mirrors will fit mine, but has anyone actually tried it?
and advice?

I believe they will fit

Buy a Superchips 3865 tuner. You will forget about mirrors. Vehicles will disolve so fast behind you, short term memory and mirros will be useless.

2003-2009 2500/3500 mirrors are direct bolt on to a 2002-2008 1500.

There really is no such thing as 2500/3500 mirrors, there are standard mirrors and towing mirrors and are completely interchangeable...

Plus, that's a lot of mirrors.

I have em on mine. You can check craigslist or ebay. You can also order them from your local dealership but factory units are very expensive!

These are about as cheap as I can find them online, but some people have gotten really lucky on craigslist.

I scored mine off craigs list. if your not in a hurry keep looking. they are pricey if you get them from the deal. Some of the after market ones are not made as well. Would reccomend OE.

I have searched several times, but I cannot justify the expense. Other than looking bad *** and assisting in viewing the rear (slightly better). The expense is too high. Good luck and I am sure it will benefit you either way you shoose to go. 257.00 would buy you pretty much any of the top 3 mods. I recommend the tuner, but....
