Default A tragic dash debacle.

Well.... I think I may have done it good this time. Wanted to clean out the ac blower motor and got a bit carried away....I got a bunch of junk out of the blower motor (mouse nest i think) and just kept going..... Anyone have any experience with the disassembly / reassembly of the dash and panels and ac control box??? Or has anyone seen any threads on this forum pertaining to such things? Already have it down to the duct work and the metal structure... already broke one of the more expensive panels too... any help would be much appreciated.

The actual easiest way is not to unbolt any panels at all. Its only a handful of bolts and a few wiring connectors that hold the dash on to start with and it all comes out as one piece.

Sent you a PM with more info.

Also, you can always download the Service Manuals from the link in my signature and see if they help.

Default Got it...

Got it back together.. after learning how to get the entire dash off in one piece... which is the only way to really do this without busting all this wonderful high-tech plastic (can ya smell the sarcasm) that this dash is made of. Heck I almost resorted to taking the windshield out.... till I did some reading. Lol.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.... learned a lot from this job.

During the dash crisis..... and the final outcome pics. Got it all back together with one screw left over if ya can believe it.
