Hi Fellas,

I am writing for some advice on replacement parts for my 06 Ram 1500 QC 4x4. As shocking as it may sound this early in the trucks life I need new tie-rods and ball joints. Do any of you have some high quality aftermarket suggestions that I can request my mechanic to use?

Also, I have a fair bit of shake when i brake and I think my rotors may be slightly warped. Is there any recommendation for aftermarket rotors and pads that I should consider?

Finally, I am going to get 20" KMC XD Rockstars in black (any suggestions on where I can find a great deal?) and a wheel alignment and hopefully with all this work done my truck should be like new! I will send pics once it is all done.

As for ball joints I would go with Moog brand w/the grease fittings...that way you can maintain them periodically and they will last a lot longer than OEMs.

 

Where in Canada are you from eh? You may be able to have your rotors machined down to correct a slight warp rather than replace them
