Default Looking to build 03 5.7 head any advice

I have been feeling the need for more power and wanting to take the next step. Currently I have shaker intake system with k&n filter, edlebrock headers and catback exhaust. So far I Have done a little research, but I would really like to hear some of your opinions on how I should go about starting up this build. Ty for any advice.

Can't go too hot on a new cam. 03's are the "red headed step child" of the family to quote many on here, as the tuning options are poor on an 03.
A 260 grind on a cam is doable, but anything hotter, takes a lot of effort on the tuning side.

If you were to Throw those cams on the 5.7 should I replace springs and valves? I also read about putting a 6.1 throttle body on, would it be worth it?

The tb won't do much without some head work. A larger tb opening cant help bring in more air without more air to grab. A lot of guys have done the 6.1 intake manifold with success. There are a few clearance hurdles to tackle with it though. There are a few threads on the swap. Any good tuner with a dyno should be able to extract all the power from whatever mods you decide on. Without a custom tune you won't see much improvement.

Skip the heads until last minute imo.
What's your gear ratio and are you 2wd? Guess you know where this is leading.
