Default New gears, Cortex, Big difference!!

This is the final punctuation on this thread i started I guess:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...new-gears.html

So yesterday after a WEEK!!!!....I finally picked my truck(04' 2500 4x4 quad cab long box 35" rubber, Hemi) up from the gear shop after getting the factory 3:73's changed over to 4:56.
All I can say is holy f*** !!! What a difference. Well, I cant get on it too bad for the 250 mile break in period but its still a huge difference. I will admit it did pretty well with 3:73's and 35" rubber. Way better than my former GM would have. <<< for those that didnt read the other thread I was a GM lifer until this truck. Never owned a dodge.

I also bought the Cortex for my truck a week before it went in for surgery and immediatley programmed the tire size and speedo which made a big difference right away.
Last night I threw the 87 quick tune on it and its nice. I'm diggin' it.
One thing I am liking with the 4:56 is my MPG have gone up especially around town!!

QUESTION..........
I want to get into the advanced functions on the cortex for shifting.
I would like to have it shift into O.D. a little later and shift back down into 3rd (ie: decending a hill with foot off the gas) sooner like 50mph.
I would like to basically get info from someone who has already done this or just some settings from Superchips instead of me just starting to mess with everything so should i post up about it in the Superchips thread or somewhere else?

Congrats on the gears, just be sure to break 'em in right. There will be plenty of time to get on 'em after they are broken in.

As for the tuner, Superchips would have been the way to go with an '04 PCM, trust me, I've done both. The Diablo does NOTHING with the tranny, not even firm up line pressure. The SC, even without the optional trans tuning firms the lines up nice and reduces TM quite a bit and WITH the trans tuning option will snap your head back when you give it gas plus you can put your WOT shifts right where you want them...

Thanks hammer.

As I said I dont want to mess with the tranny and shift settings myself as I have no idea WTF i am doing. Would superchips have a set of "settings" i guess, that i could just copy or is it a specific thing? I guess Im unsure where to go for the right guidance as to how to mess with my tranny.

What are your rpm's on the highway? How is your highway mileage? I've been thinking about 35's and going to 4.10's in my 1500
