How much of a difference would it make sound wise if I got nice speakers for the doors? I could go with components I guess. UGH! Stupid infinity system. Too many questions!
Using just the doors with good after markets wont make much difference. Now if you had two trucks to compare side by side you might notice a difference but for you, it wont matter

Weed, these are the wires I'm having difficulty understanding from the interfaces instructions as my Kenwood does not have those input wires available. Highlighted in Red.

11 pin plug (to CAN INTERFACE):
Blue/White - Connect this wire to the radio’s amplifier remote output. Connect this wire with or without OEM amp
1. present! This connection is VERY IMPORTANT! Some of the C2R-CHY4 features will not function if this wire is not connetced!
White/Green - SWC output. 2.
Green - Connect this wire to the radio’s reverse input wire only. 3.
Orange/White - Connect this wire to the radio’s Illumination input wire only. 4.
Violet/White - Connect this wire to the radio’s VSS input wire only. 5.
Red/White - Connect this wire to the radio’s parking brake input wire only. 6.

Not sure if I need to wire these, and if so, where do I find them and what colors are they? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Check out this site as it will help

Reverse wire and VSS are under the hood and in the PCM harness.

Reservse is a white with green strip

VSS is a green wire with yellow stripe

Again, these are knly needed for navigational units as nav requires these for GPS.

I just paid visit to Pioneer's website. SInce I don't have DVD or Nav, I don't need any of the three wires. Those wires are inputs for nav units, but on any non-nav or DVD stereo, they are not used. Thanks for your help. I can't wiat to get this thing installed. Think I'm gonna install the radio first and see how it sounds with the factory speakers. If I like that, I'll roll with that setup. If I don't, then I'll get some new 6x9's for the front, and run them off the radio directly so I get fll range sound to them.

I know bud, I was just teasing you but I still think you will need the brake wire in order to play DVD while driving.

Thanks for all of your help. BTW, nice truck. So, by using this interface, I'm still sending all of my signal through the Infinity amp correct? If I later decide to run everything off of the Kenwood through an aftermarket amp, how or where would be the best place to run the speaker wires to since it seems as though running any wires into the doors themselves would be impossible.
